Saturday, Day 2 - Sacramento to Redmond

Mount Shasta

Rest Stop...

Big Lake!  ...followed by lots of straight highway that look exactly like this for a really long time (hwy 97)

Sunday, Day 3 - Redmond, Bend, Prineville

Monday, Day 4 - House hunting in Bend

Around south east Bend - the River.
The river you see in the 3rd picture is the same one that's running along the back of the 1st two, before the ledge in the back.

Nice Yard... and later mother quail with lots of babies.

Tuesday, Day 5 - More house hunting; lots of driving.

Wildlife - Look for the squirrels in the pictures.  I haven't caught a chipmunk yet.

Drake Park in Bend

Pilot Butte

Wednesday, Day 6 - We found something!

Look what the cat dragged in.

We found a house!

This is what the
main road looks like.
The actual road the house
is on has lots of potholes.

It's tucked back in the trees.
You'll see it once you
go to the larger picture.

Here's a close up of the
garage and carport.
There's a office on the right
and another "room" up a ladder.
This is the back yard.
Left and right side.
This was at another house
by mom wants a swing like this.
Lava Rocks - pretty much the same area as the house. Giant Moth (same neighborhood)

Details on the property:
2 acres in the woods; manufactured home built in 1999; 2 car garage with shop, ladder up to rafters with small room and 2 carports on the side; the property backs up to the canal so there's water running at the back 6 months out of the year; it averages 1 1/2 foot of snow each year and there's cable internet access.

Thursday, Day 7 - The deal is signed.

And on the way home... Smith Rock detour.

There's people there.  2nd and 3rd photo zoom in more.

On the way back: horses and reindeer!

And some clouds ;)

Friday, Day 8 - Sightseeing; too bad there's not more time.
